My latest gadget is an Apple TV. Nifty item. I got it to stream Netflix and Youtube in the bedroom. The set up was easy, or should I say it should have been easy. I forgot that my wireless network password was case sensitive. It was smooth sailing after I figured out the network issue. Streaming content is seamless and the picture and audio quality is great. I was tickled pink with the streaming quality since I have a cheapy 32-inch flat screen (720p) in the bedroom; I wasn’t expecting great quality so it was pleasant surprise.
If you have other iDevices, be sure to download the free remote app from the app store. A very small but functional remote comes in the box. It’s nice to have a back up since I don’t have great luck with remotes in the bedroom; the remote always ends up on the floor in the middle of the night.
